Terms of Service
Terms that match how ExemptProof works
Last updated April 11, 2026. These terms are intentionally concise and are designed for a production SaaS product that stores business documents and account data.
Use of the Service
ExemptProof provides software for collecting, validating, organizing, and exporting exemption certificate records. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you upload and for how you use the platform in your business operations.
Accounts and Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for the activity that occurs under your account. You must promptly notify ExemptProof if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.
Customer Data
You retain ownership of the documents and business information you submit to ExemptProof. You authorize ExemptProof to host, process, back up, and transmit that information as needed to operate and secure the service.
Billing
Paid subscriptions, when enabled, will be governed by the pricing and billing terms shown at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise in writing.
Compliance Disclaimer
ExemptProof is a document workflow and validation platform. It does not provide tax advice, legal advice, or tax calculation services. You remain responsible for reviewing certificates and obtaining advice from qualified tax or legal professionals when needed.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. ExemptProof may suspend or terminate access if the service is used unlawfully, abusively, or in a way that materially harms the platform or other customers.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExemptProof will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
